The Model 202 Rolling Sheet Door is engineered for robust performance and durability. Its curtain is meticulously crafted from 26-gauge, Grade 80 full hard steel, continuously roll-formed into a corrugated profile. This steel is galvanized to A.S.T.M. A653-G60 standards and further enhanced with a baked epoxy primer, followed by a baked polyester topcoat, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance and a lasting finish. For smooth and quiet operation, a specialized wear strip is securely attached to the curtain edges. The door’s structural integrity is reinforced by a heavy-duty bottom bar, consisting of a 2” x 1-1/2” x 12-gauge galvanized steel angle, complemented by an E.P.D.M. astragal for effective sealing. Additionally, the door features integrated mylar and polyethylene insulation, expertly laminated to the corrugated sheet, providing essential thermal benefits.
